Originally established as Country Mutual Insurance Company, Country Financial first opened its doors in 1925. At that time, it sold just fire and lightning insurance. In 1926, the company added crop, hail, and farm equipment insurance to its policies since most of its customers had livelihoods in agriculture or farming. In 1927, it added auto insurance.

The company’s name finally changed to what it is today, Country Financial, in 2008. The name change provided the company and its customers with a clearer vision to “be the best provider of financial security in America.”

Today, Country Financial continues to serve customers in both rural and urban settings nationwide.
