About QuoteWizard

Family Founded. Family Owned. Family Run.

QuoteWizard's Genesis is Rooted in Family

How it All Began

Founder and CEO Scott Peyree grew up on his family’s grass seed farm in Independence, Oregon. Scott, along with brother Rob and childhood friend John, spent many summers working the fields growing and harvesting grass seed.

Decades later, after working at an internet startup for a few years, brothers Scott and Rob launched online marketing firm WorldClass Strategy in Seattle, Washington. In true Peyree fashion, their father Tom and their old friend John jumped aboard shortly after. It was while working with an insurance industry client through WorldClass that Scott sensed the untapped potential in simplifying insurance shopping. Thus, QuoteWizard was born.

Insurance Made Easy

Insurance is an old-school industry. Scott’s mission was to provide a service that connected internet consumers with the insurance industry, where modern shoppers expect modern solutions. QuoteWizard now helps consumers:

  • Navigate the insurance landscape
  • Compare quotes and companies
  • Find the perfect policy at the best price

Who We Are

What started as a side-project soon blossomed into one of the most successful insurance comparison platform in the country. Scott didn’t do it alone – Tom, Rob, and John were and still are integral to QuoteWizard’s ascent.

The family connection that created QuoteWizard is now firmly ingrained into the fabric of the company. QuoteWizard grew from seed in those sweltering summer days on the farm in Oregon to over 150 employees across their Seattle, Denver, and Sacramento offices.

Today, QuoteWizard provides end-to-end solutions for insurance shoppers and agents alike. That’s why over 40 million people have used QuoteWizard to lower their rates. When you think of insurance, think of QuoteWizard.
