QuoteWizard is seeking a link builder to accelerate organic search rankings for the QuoteWizard domain. The candidate will build and execute targeted link building campaigns for content initiatives. Using a variety of strategies, the candidate will seek to connect with influential figures to earn links on their websites.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience working with SEO in some capacity with an understanding of the value links bring to a website. The candidate has the creative capacity to learn quickly and discover scalable linking opportunities. You are a savvy Google user with capabilities to quickly identify highly authoritative websites for links.

Job Responsibilities:

The Sales Representative (SR) is responsible for new business acquisition and account optimization. The SR will work closely with their team lead on a daily basis as well as with the Customer Service department to ensure a premium agent experience.

Reporting Developer

QuoteWizard trades in both web traffic, i.e. clicks, and insurance leads. We have several large corporate clients as well as thousands of independent agents across the country that we serve. Central to our business operations is a set of web-based applications, business layer software, and backend servers that run our core business.

To meet business demands, QuoteWizard has been growing and our Tech team has a new position for a Reporting Developer to develop and support the reporting and analytics needs of our business. This role will also share management and administration of our database systems and related processes. The ideal candidate has a passion for building maintainable and scalable applications, is able to break down complex problems and design elegant, easy-to-maintain solutions that are resilient and robust. You need to be comfortable working in an existing codebase and have the judgment to make necessary changes to existing code while managing risk. You also need the ability to gather requirements from business managers, gain insight into business processes, and communicate ideas clearly to team members in order to support multi-person projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and maintain reporting and analytical solutions
  • Create, or support creation of, required reports and queries in response to business user needs.
  • Support existing services and applications including troubleshooting, bug fixing, required upgrades and modifications to existing functionality
  • Assist with the management of production database systems and related processes.
  • Monitor database operations, detect, respond to and resolve database access and performance issues.
  • Provide input during database design, using best practices and standards.

We are currently seeking a hands-on, highly motivated and detail-oriented person for the full-time Director of Operations Analysis and Forecasting position. Candidates should have the ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects at one time, and collaborate with internal customers and peers in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive our operational metrics including revenue and cost accruals, monthly projections, and estimations. This includes working with business owners, team analysts, product managers, and our tech and reporting teams to continually refine and improve the real time numbers and projections we use to run our business.
  • Prepare and delivery twice-weekly company metrics package and board book to management team.
  • Drive literacy around and adoption of our operational metrics. Be the expert and help business owners, analysts, and our reporting team to adopt and use the right numbers to improve execution across the organization.
  • Split out overall performance metrics by product and by industry.
  • Find savings by auditing revenue, costs, and contracts. Work with business owners to figure out where the money is going and how to make it more efficient along the way.
  • Assist with reconciliation by working with the accounting group and business owners to insure our projections and accruals are matching, and turning into cash in the bank!
  • Assist with strategic planning by coordinating the creation of goals and targets and refining the metrics we’ll use to monitor revenue, profit, product quality, and team productivity.

Requirements:

As the ideal candidate, you love solving hard problems using data. You live and breathe Excel. You’ve been known to serve dinner on your pivot tables, bring pie charts to parties and write formulas in your sleep.

  • A degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience doing financial analytical work in a team environment.
