Account Manager

QuoteWizard is looking to expand and diversify its agent (customer) base, specifically a focus on key agent accounts. The Account Manager (AM) will manage and grow current customers who spend $2,000+ a month with QuoteWizard. The number of accounts will vary by territory and current book of business; however, one should have the ability to manage upwards of 120-150 accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sales and Client Services teams to transition key accounts to the Mega Agent team.
  • Manage accounts to hit metrics on product and volume needs for clients.
  • Create long term relationships with existing customer base.
  • Long-term retention with the ability to generate referrals from these positive relationships.
  • Ability to organize, track and celebrate major milestones in our customers’ lives.
  • Some travel required (max 20%) to industry events, shows or site visits.

Data Engineer II

What you'll be doing:

  • Design and develop real-time streaming solutions for multiple sources and data types
  • Implement large scale, high-performance data analytics, and data integration platforms
  • Design and develop ETL solutions for multiple source systems
  • Design, develop, and support BI-related database applications spanning multiple lines of business
  • Evaluate operation of production BI applications/environments and perform appropriate troubleshooting as necessary
  • Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Owners to implement project deliverables
  • Effectively work with business users to determine project requirements and issues

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and analytics

Business Development Representative

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) that will work to generate new business through relationships with large insurance agents/agencies. The BDR will start to develop relationships with agents/agencies that spend in upwards of $5,000 with QuoteWizard on a month to month basis and grow those accounts as they nurture them over time. The BDR will travel about 50% of the time for this role and they must be able to prospect on platforms such as LinkedIN. The BDR has to be a good organizer as many of the relationships will take 2-3 months to develop into a sale, thus this person also has to take rejection well. This person must also be a self-starter that is creative, driven and genuine in all that they do.

Application Systems Analyst

We are looking for an Application Systems Analyst to join our Calls products team. This team focuses on customer contact strategies utilizing calling and SMS communications. Your primary roles will be ensuring the applications being developed meet the product owner’s expectations and developing testing processes that ensure flawless production deployments. You’ll be expected to learn our current applications and business processes so you can be an effective and influential team member. You’ll work regularly with product owners, developers and business analysts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with product owners and project management to prepare and maintain test plans for new products and existing products.
  • Work with product owners to define acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare and maintain test plans, test scripts and test data for each application and demonstrate the expected results.
  • Write and maintain automated test suites.
  • Write and maintain manual test plans.
  • Effectively report bugs to ensure defects can be re-produced and document in enough detail for developers to locate and correct the code.
  • Manage the defects found during testing in a ticketing system and work with the multiple stakeholders to prioritize them.
  • Research technologies and techniques to improve overall testing processes.
  • Provide feedback to tech management on how to improve testing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Computer Science Degree preferred or other related Information Systems field.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum 3 years experience testing custom enterprise applications using automated and manual testing tools and procedures.
  • Experience with scripting languages used in test customization.
  • Ability to write test plans, develop test strategies, acceptance requirements and communicate these to other business stakeholders.
  • Experience working within an Agile software development team and an understanding of Agile concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability perform root cause analyses.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and where testing fits in.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SQL Server.
  • Nice to have experience with Azure Cloud services and Azure DevOPS /Visual Studio Team Services.
