We are currently seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and goal-oriented person for the full-time position of Sr. Media Buyer. Candidate should have a proven track record with Programmatic, Native media platforms, and/or Facebook. Candidate must also have the ability to handle multiple projects at one time, be collaborate in a team environment, and be able to think outside the box in coming up with new revenue impacting ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your existing network and past experience to find opportunities that best fit our business and corporate goals.

Requirements

Senior Full Stack Web Software Developer

QuoteWizard trades in both web traffic, i.e. clicks, and insurance leads. We have several large  corporate clients as well as thousands of independent agents across the country that we serve.  Central to our business operations is a set of web-based applications, business layer software,  and backend servers that run our core business.

To meet business demands QuoteWizard has been growing and our Tech team has a new  position for a Sr. Full Stack Web Software Developer to own some of our web applications  used by our clients and staff, to deliver and manage existing and new Internet products. The  ideal candidate has a passion for building maintainable and scalable applications, solving  problems, and delighting customers and business stakeholders.

You are able to break down complex problems and you design elegant, easy-to-maintain  solutions that are resilient and robust. You are comfortable working in an existing codebase and  have the judgment to make necessary changes to existing code while managing risk. You also  have the ability to gather requirements from business managers, gain insight into business  processes, and communicate ideas clearly to team members in order to support multi-person  projects.

Responsibilities:

         
  • Develop scalable and maintainable web applications. Products may include user interfaces, integrations with third party web services and new or existing databases.
  • Develop functional prototypes and beta web applications quickly to support market trials.
  • Support existing web applications including troubleshooting, bug fixing, required upgrades and modifications to existing functionality.

Required Skills / Experience

           
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 4+ years developing web applications with C# and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Experience with AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery and web frameworks
  • Experience developing business applications using SQL Server or another RDBMS.
  • Knowledge of current best practices of web application development using HTML and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices such as SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • Development experience under an agile development methodology and process

Sr. Systems Administrator

In this role, the successful candidate should be senior level (7-10 years’ experience) and able to provide for the engineering and architecture of the company’s internal and external facing server environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, driving solutions forward while also supporting internal IT directives.  We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people as well as the technologies they use.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join a growing IT team; alongside senior Windows Server  administrative skills we are looking for a candidate who excels in critical thinking and is able to provide total ownership of issues. The candidate will be responsible for leading other systems administrators in the administration, and design of internal and production servers, switches, storage, load balancers. The candidate will be responsible for architecting the design of our new environment as we transition from IaaS/Colocation to PaaS. We will also call on your expertise in capacity planning and trending to evaluate new technologies and plan for future growth. Your ability to design and architect secure compute solutions is highly sought.

Normal tasks include:

       
  • Ownership of multiple projects based on business need
  • Handling of problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution for highly complex problems, referring less complex problems to the Systems Administrator, or other IT staff
  • Design and architecture of a Microsoft Windows Server environment primarily based on Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server 2012R2.
