In 1963, the name was changed to American Family. Today the company offers a variety of products to people across the country.

American Family was awarded the Teen Driving Safety Leadership Award in 2010 for its Teen Safe Driver Program. This program reduced risky driving behavior by 70%. The company is also known for its annual charitable donations to the United Way. American Family also aims to be more sustainable.
